Can Jiao is a Professor of Psychology at Shenzhen University, China. She has received her Ph.D. in the South China Normal University in 2009. Her current research is focused on educational and psychological measurement, the theoretical and applied research of statistics.

She was elected as “Liyuan Outstanding Young Teachers” in Shenzhen University and “Qianbaishi Project” cultivating talents of institutions of higher learning in Guangdong province. She held concurrent posts of the Dean of Professional Committee on Mental Health of Guangdong Psychology Association, the Deputy Secretary-General of Guangdong Psychology Association, the Deputy Secretary-General of the Educational Statistics and Measurement Branch of the Chinese Society of Education.

She has published over 60 research papers as the first or the corresponding author, and her findings were published in top journals like Social Sciences in China, Acta Psychologica Sinica and Journal of Psychological Science etc. . She has served as the co-editor of 《教育与心理统计学》 (“Educational and Psychological Statistics”, listed in National Planning Textbook in the 11th Five-Year Plan of General Higher Education). She has been the principal investigator of several research projects funded by the National and Provincial or Ministerial Science Foundation of China.
