1.Psychology (Including a Honor Program)

Cultivation Requirements:This program entails comprehensive study of psychology fundamentals alongside interdisciplinary training across various psychological disciplines. Students will acquire foundational knowledge in mathematics, biology, Marxist philosophy, sociology, and core psychological concepts, principles, and skills through general coursework. They will also develop research capabilities encompassing study design, data collection, analysis, thesis composition, effective communication, and proficient use of technology for information seeking. To further specialize, students pursue psychology electives to deepen their proficiency in diverse areas and are equipped to implement psychological theories in real-world settings.

2.Psychology (Teacher Training)

Cultivation Objectives:This major aims to cultivate excellent psychology educators for basic education who are "well-rounded, physically and mentally healthy, deeply knowledgeable, forward-thinking, solidly grounded, and highly skilled." It aims to train professionals with a solid understanding of psychology and the skills needed to teach mental health, apply psychological counseling and consultation skills to solve practical problems in students' psychological development, learning, and life, and engage in teaching, consulting, and scientific research related to psychology in schools.

Cultivation Requirements:Students of this program mainly study psychology and related disciplines, cultivate teacher-educator qualities, and have the ability to teach, counsel, and conduct scientific research in secondary schools and other educational institutions.Graduates should embody high ethical standards, deep cultural proficiency, advanced pedagogy, and comprehensive excellence. They must excel in classroom leadership, instructional strategies, and psychological counseling interventions, demonstrating mastery over fundamental psychology principles and contemporary educational psychology developments. They should also be adept at applying research methodologies and literature review in psychology to inform and advance teaching practice, including conducting research in educational settings using psychological approaches.
