I specialise in Occupational and Health Psychology, with a primary focus on promoting well-being. In my research, I have conducted extensive studies on stress and fatigue, exploring their impact in both workplace and general life contexts. This includes research on occupational fatigue, mental workload, cognitive performance, human well-being, work-related rumination, sleep problems, music and art therapy, and human factors in safety industries such as railways and petroleum. Additionally, I investigate the effects of occupational factors on health and performance efficiency. I explore risk factors related to ill health and examine how health-related behaviours and health status influence cognitive performance, mood, and physiological functioning.
