On the afternoon of March 4th, the School of Psychology convened its New Semester All-Faculty Assembly in Room L3-1201 of Zhili Building. The meeting focused on the School's Spring 2025 work plan and key priorities, aiming to clarify developmental objectives, align collective understanding, and establish strategic foundations for effective implementation of semester initiatives. The assembly was presided over by Zhang Lunan, with full faculty attendance.

Dean Chen Qi conveyed the spirit of the university's new semester work conference, emphasizing that 2025 marks the final year of Shenzhen University's "14th Five-Year Plan," the beginning of the "15th Five-Year Plan," and a critical year for accelerating the university's efforts to achieve "Double First-Class" status.Considering the college's actual situation and work objectives, he outlined key priorities in areas such as undergraduate and graduate teaching, personnel affairs, scientific research and internationalization, laboratory management, student affairs, advanced training programs, and publicity efforts.He pointed out that while the college faces both opportunities and challenges, the next steps will focus on advancing key projects, strengthening the recruitment of high-level talent, optimizing laboratory resource allocation, and expanding international cooperation. These efforts aim to further enhance overall strength and drive the college’s disciplinary development and research innovation.

Vice Dean Guo Tianyou outlined plans for the advanced training programs and undergraduate teaching. He provided an overview of the equivalent academic qualification applications for the training programs and emphasized the importance of strengthening support and guidance for participants. Regarding undergraduate education, the college will focus on revising the teaching curriculum, enhancing student recruitment efforts, and improving teaching quality to further elevate undergraduate education and provide a solid foundation for students' growth and success.
Deputy Party Secretary Gao Liang aligned his directives with the university’s requirements for political and ideological security, campus technical security, and mental health services. He outlined plans for disciplinary inspection, student affairs, and trade union work, emphasizing the need to focus on the goal of "ensuring security and promoting development." He stressed the importance of advancing these initiatives in a practical manner to maintain the college's stability while fostering high-quality growth.
Vice Dean Li Peng detailed plans for laboratory development and graduate education. He highlighted the need to enhance laboratory infrastructure and management standards to provide strong support for research. Additionally, he emphasized the importance of graduate admissions, degree management, and increasing the proportion of recommended exemption admissions to attract high-quality students. He also encouraged faculty members to participate in the development of outstanding graduate textbooks and apply for "golden course" construction projects.
Party Secretary Zhang Lunan conveyed the key messages from the university’s new semester work conference.She outlined major initiatives, including strengthening the foundation through in-depth political theory studies, advancing the "One Integration, Two Highs" strategy to enhance branded Party-building efforts, fostering Party-building partnerships, promoting the integration of ideological and political education across all levels of schooling, and enhancing the comprehensive capabilities of administrative and academic support staff.
